NANA the movie
just watched NANA THE MOVIE
it's about 2 gals sharing the same lst name, Nana...how they met, how their lives intertwined & unfold around them, the growing friendship btw the 2 gals, despite coming from totally different backgrounds & having totally opposite personalities from each other. Mika Nakashima and Aoi Miyazaki play the title characters. There are funny moments, & bittersweet touching ones, a story about friendship, romance, following your dreams & trying to find a place in this world as young adults... stuff that everyone wld relate to, stuff that resonates...
cute fact: they share an apartment, the apartment number being 707 (nana = 7 in japanese)
It's a manga adaption, the on-going manga created by Ai Yazawa 矢沢あい, who also did the beautifully illustrated manga "Paradise Kiss".
Nana the anime is coming out early april... can't hardly wait!! ^-^
